All About Wellness & Beauty is an educational guide to red light therapy (photobiomodulation). Our goal is to make the peer-reviewed research understandable, and to help you explore reputable devices.
Every scientific claim on this site links to a published study or review that we have checked on PubMed. We favour systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials and clinical guidelines, and we flag where evidence is still early.
Disclosure: Amir, who runs this site, offers Avologi and ORA devices in person. The research summaries are written to the same evidence standard no matter which device or brand they relate to, and product descriptions are the brands' own claims.
How we evaluate evidence
- Guideline / consensusrecommended in clinical guidelines or expert consensus statements.
- Moderate — RCTs & meta-analysessupported by multiple randomized controlled trials and/or meta-analyses, though protocols vary.
- Emerging — early trialspromising results in smaller controlled trials; more research needed.
- Early — limited human datavery small or few human studies, or mainly mechanistic/laboratory evidence.
